And blessed is she who admits she was wrong

And blessed are they who take hold of the Savior

Run Where You Are

Verse 1

There is one who is softer than the ocean

Stronger than it’s crashing waves

If you get caught in life’s strong current

Jesus, He is mighty to save

Throw off the vice that binds you

Run, run, run hard with all your might

Away from your sin into the light

There is one more forgiving than a mother

More tender than a newborn babe

If you’re scared and you don’t know who to turn to

You can call out Jesus’ name Repeat Chorus

Bridge

He doesn’t want us to walk away on our own

Or we’ll return to sins dark ugly door

When we cry out for help He’s who we need

Together we can face life and much more

There is one who is softer than the ocean

Stronger than it’s crashing waves

If you get caught in life’s strong current

Wondering One

Verse 1

So I hear you’re having the time of your life

Torn asunder in these changing times

If you dare to listen God has some news

Draw near to Him, He’ll draw near to you.

Oh wandering one, oh wondering one, He loves you.

Verse 2

Or perhaps you have some questions to ask

Which way to turn or what will come to pass

If you set your heart to follow Christ alone

He’ll lead you child, He’ll take you to His throne

Oh wandering one, oh wondering one, He loves you.

Chorus

So I’m keeping my eyes on Jesus He is in this storm

Feeling sorrow stronger diving deeper than before

I’m keeping my eyes on Jesus the Author of my faith

Trusting in His holy Word and His amazing grace! His amazing grace.

Verse 3

His prayer for you is that you’d know His peace

That your worry and your striving they would cease

So put your eyes on Jesus and take them off the world

Listen to the voice of God found in His holy Word

Oh wandering one, oh wondering one, He loves you.

Verse 4

So pray to the One who calmed the raging sea

If you follow Christ the best is yet to be

Take time, be still and know He is God

One day all our struggles will be gone.

Oh wandering one, oh wondering one, He loves you. Repeat Chorus

Are You Ready?

Verse 1

A voice cries in the wilderness, prepare the way of the Lord

Make straight in the desert a highway for our God

Every valley shall be lifted up and every mountain be made low

The grass will wither and the flowers fade

When the breath, of the Lord blows

Chorus

And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed.

Are you ready?

Verse 2

Have you not known? Have you not heard He’s the everlasting God?

He gives power to the faint and him who has grown weak

But those who wait for the Lord, He shall renew their strength again

They shall mount up on eagles wings and take flight once again

Chorus

And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed. Are you ready?

Bridge

So get up on the high mountain and shout out the good news!

Behold the Lord God coming to rule with strength and truth!

He will be a shepherd and gather the lambs in His arms

He will gently carry those who are with young.

We will behold the Lamb of God. We will behold the Lamb of God

Chorus

And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed

Are you ready?

For He’s just the same as I

To become a friend of the King

For He has called you to lay down your life

To die to everyone and thing.

He has sacrificed all for you

So forever you’ll be by His side

In the Kingdom of God where there’s life and light

My Brother Bob

Chorus 1

My brother Bob is a fighter

Everyday brings new battle lines.

But he knows the Lord is a warrior

And he clings to the Cross of Christ

Verse 1

There is a path that each of us must take in life

My brother has shown me the way

It’s God’s will, not mine that must be done

He must increase while I must fade away Repeat Chorus 1

Verse 2

He has taught me, never take God’s gifts for granted

To not cling tightly to my life

But that Christ has a plan a purpose

Don’t let Satan take an inch without a fight!

Chorus 2

My brother Bob tells a story

With the very words of his life

It’s not how we begin

But how we finish well for Jesus Christ

Bridge

So no matter if it’s a dreaded disease,

Or something you can’t live without.

Take up your Cross and follow fast the King

Believe the Word of God and have no doubt!

Repeat Chorus 1

Ending

So don’t give up, be a fighter

Everyday brings new battle lines

For the Lord our God is a warrior

Finding Yourself In Me

Verse 1

So you’re off on a trip to find yourself

Tell me what are you hoping to see?

If you find what you think fulfills you

You may learn that it actually kills you

As you cry out, “life’s all about me!”

Verse 2

It’s not in finding yourself that you’re found

But you’re found when you give yourself a – way

So take a lesson from our God the Creator

Find yourself by helping others today…

Chorus

To stay sober or share godly wisdom

A kind word, a touch or a smile

Feed the hungry, put clothes on the naked

Bear another man’s load one more mile

Bridge

The Bible says we’re all sinful inside

When we find ourselves we’re just trying to hide

A heart full of sin, so where do we begin

It’s in Christ that we’re made fully alive

It’s in Christ we’re made fully alive!

Verse 3

Give your life to the One who can be trusted

For He modeled the truth and the way

His death paid the price for our egos

He lived His life to give it away.

We are called to help others the same way… Repeat Chorus

Ending

So you’re off on a trip to find yourself

Tell me what are you hoping to see?

A Distant Thunder

Verse 1

Outside I hear the sound of a distant thunder

As I run from the pain deep in my soul

Prone to jump into the jaws of a lion

Before I see the sins that are my own

Verse 2

I can blame my mom and dad for my afflictions

Or I can ask for help to see me deep inside

Walk with me dear Lord as I take a good hard look at my own life.

Chorus

And I will take the steps that lead to freedom

To break thru all the lies that I’ve been told

To own up to the ones that I have hurt so with my life

And join the Lord in cleaning up my soul.

Verse 3

Perhaps I could stop here just a moment

Just to be still and listen to the rain

And ask God to mold me and make me

Into a man of truth, then let myself be made Repeat Chorus

Bridge

So many times I’ve taken back the reins

And watched as I caused chaos and strife

God I need you so, help me to let go

Come and be the Lord of my life Repeat Chorus

Ending Verse

That sound I thought was the roar of a distant thunder

It was the fear of looking deep within

But as I took inventory, I began a brand new story

God put courage in my heart and said, “Let’s begin”. Repeat Chorus

Oh Samuel

Verse 1

Oh Samuel are you listening? Or oh Samuel are you dreaming

Thoughts of the night before or what lies in store, Samuel

Verse 2

Here I am Lord cried the young man, but the one who he ran to was the wrong man

“Go back where you were before, lay down and wait upon the Lord.”

And the Lord said;

Chorus 1

“You have run to the wrong one, come to me

I’ve a plan and a purpose to set Israel free

Listen to the voice of truth that comes this night

I’m about to show my strength and might thru you…Samuel”.

Verse 3

So when the Lord calls you will you answer? He’s a plan and a purpose for your life!

You’ve tried it on your own, felt lonely and alone. How will you answer?

Chorus 2

“You have run to the wrong one, come to me

I’ve a plan and a purpose to set you free

Listen to the voice of truth that comes this night

I’m about to show my grace and light thru you…Samuel”.

Bridge 1

He’s shown He loves you by dying on that tree

The Cross He bore to show the world His love has set you free

Stop living for yourself, it’s just a dead end street

Live for the Lord of life, embrace your Calvary!

Chorus 2

“You have run to the wrong one, come to me

I’ve a plan and a purpose to set you free

Listen to the voice of truth that comes this night

I’m about to show my grace and light thru you…Samuel”. Repeat Bridge

Ending

Oh Samuel are you listening? Or oh Samuel are you dreaming

Come follow me into love and mystery, Samuel.  Samuel.

Deeper Hidden Things

Verse 1

There is a longing in my heart, I know it’s You God

And yet I try to fill it with unneeded things

Lord I want to be found holy, how I want to be so hungry

For the deeper hidden things of knowing You

For the deeper hidden things of knowing You

Verse 2

Tho’ I raise my heart in worship few will follow

Souls are dry and arid, far from Your living springs

Help us Lord to be more holy, by Your Spirit make us thirsty

For the deeper hidden things of knowing You

For the deeper hidden things of knowing You

Chorus

As the deer pants for the water

May our souls pant for You oh God

As deep calls unto deep in the roar of your waterfalls

May You sing Your song, call us back to You

Bridge

There is no one like You nor will there ever be

No one else could die for us to set us free

Deny yourself and live for the King of kings

And He will bring to you extraordinary things!

Verse 3

Help us to keep our eyes upon You in this age

Train us to lift Your holy name and proclaim

Jesus is Lord of all! Come follow Him, answer the call

To change the world by His heavenly grace!

Life is not about our agenda, Satan is a liar and a pretender!

Raise the banner and live for our risen King! Repeat Chorus

Ending

There is a longing in our hearts, We know it’s You God

And yet we try to fill it with unneeded things

Lord we want to be found holy, how we want to be so hungry

Though I Walk Through The Valley

Verse 1

Though I walk through the valley, I will fear no evil,

When I run through the rain I know You shine

And when I’m out in the desert come and meet me

Let me drink at Your river side.

Chorus 1

So take me in, lead me onward,

To that still quiet place where You abide.

Take my hand; teach me new things

Be the love and the Lord of my life.

Verse 2

For the Lord is my shepherd, I shall want for nothing,

He makes me lie down in the sweet grass.

He stills my soul by the quiet waters,

And guide’s me ‘long righteousness’ path. Repeat Chorus 1

Bridge

Be still and know My love for you.

Let me show that I am safe.

Let my rod and my staff comfort you

Through the night and through the day.

Chorus 2

So take Me in, I’ll lead you onward, to that still quiet place where I abide.

Take My hand, I’ll teach you new things.

I’m the Love and the Lord of your life.

Riding The Train

Verse 1

I can feel the train move-to the beat of the rails

As she glides on into the night

It’s a sound that steps-right into my soul

And frees things that I’d locked up tight

Verse 2

And the whistle she blows-warns others her flight

As she winds her way down the hard tracks

What an honor and joy-to ride on this train

I’ll be on board when she’s coming back

Chorus

The rails bring out something-in all of us

A new beginning or the end of a day

It’s a journey that stirs in all of our hearts

Or we embark to just run away

God has placed a desire-in each of our breasts

It’s Him we’re all looking to find

So quiet your soul and surrender to Christ

In Him you’ll find your true life

Verse 3

This train we call life is moving so fast

Not a worry can slow her speed down

What matters the most is who drives that machine

Is it you-or God’s Holy Ghost

Verse 4

So as your train ventures into the mountains

It’s time that you empty your load

For the hard times of life make you stronger

And prepare you for what’s down the road. Repeat Chorus

Bridge

Riding the train-riding thru pain-thru the mountains-green valleys below

Riding the train-thru the sun and the rain-until God calls us home.

Ending

I can feel the train move-to the beat of the rails

As she glides on into the night
